I made this map for a community assessment project. We spent a day in Puembo, a town near Tumbaco, to interview locals and to learn about their needs. The community map shows where there are current resources and it will aid us in understanding where we might start programs or what resources are missing that we could help bring to the community. I used Adobe Illustrator but most people did them by hand. I think it will actually be more fun once we are on site and are making the maps of places we will frequent. Funny story – two folks we met in this town one of my friends just ran into at the market! Small world!
